Vases, jars and bottles filled with jolly flowers. My colourful table top garden including the last of the lilacs. We had beautiful weather this weekend, I hope you did too. I went to see SATC with two of my friends and then to a bar for a couple of drinks. With the backdrop of cloud splitting lightening flashes and distant rumbling thunder I dashed home trying to stay under cover from the torrential rain. I have to admit I'm an admirer of dramatic weather.
Sunday was unexpectedly sunny so I dragged the husband out of bed and for a walk (he had a few more drinks than me), gathering local cheeses and fresh bread for lunch and a stack of vintage tea plates for my next tea party.
