There has also been a cupboard excavation and an industrial throwing away of all things unused over the past year. The charity shops around here are doing very well out of us!

Esta bella actriz mexicana nació el 1 de Mayo de 1980. En 1994, Ana Claudia Talancon comienza sus clases de actuación, y en 1995 debutó profesionalmente en la telenovela Al Norte del Corazón. Ha participado en distintas telenovelas como "Señora" y "Obsesión" y "Vale Todo". Debutó en el cine con la cinta "El Cometa". Sin embargo, se dio a conocer internacionalmente gracias a su participación en la película El Crimen del Padre Amaro. Thanks for your comments they were very encouraging. I can't believe anyone other than family is reading this?! Tamzin ( My sister ) has beaten me to it and listed her wares on Etsy ( The broach below is one of hers!) But listing is still on hold for me as the carpet fitters are here today! Yay! Its soft under foot in two rooms. One of them being My studio/ spare room. something tells me its gonna be more for sewing than house guests! Can't wait to get in there and start arranging all my creative stuff in the shelving and drawer space.

Settled

Finally the home renovations are coming to an end. My newly decorated work space should be ready for me to move in to by the end of the week. This means I am able to get on with my creative projects, Leave them and return to them later without having to pack up and shift from room to room like a nomad, while we paint and fit carpets.
(loosing needles all round the house in the process!)

This, The first corsage I made did its rounds on all my bags and jackets. After encouragement from friends and family I finally made enough to sell. I'm hoping to get them onto Etsy soon!

Getting the hang of it

I just don't know how people keep on top of their blogs! Its like a full time job. I am in awe of my favorite blog authors. Being quite a new computer convert ( I know its 2007!) I have had a crash course in the space of about four months. I only got my mac in january. It seems I have successfully avoided them for quite some time, But being the only crafty person in my group of friends is difficult to find inspiration and motivation, so when I discovered all these amazing people online I couldn't wait to make my own blog. I kept thinking I wouldn't be able to do it but I can and I have. So many things to be sorted out and linked together, trying to set up etsy and organize photos on flickr. I guess it gets easier and I'm lucky to have a 24 hour computer saviour in the form of my boyfriend to help me out whenever things get messy!

Too many choices

These made the shortlist for living room colour, and this was being restrained! Its like pick and mix for adults in the paint tester isle. The middle colour won but only lasted for a month, after we both admitted to each other that we weren't feeling it! So out with all the furniture and in with a few more testers. We settled on Lamp room grey from Farrow and Ball and I love it so much.
