Super cute reusable party picks from Cox and Cox

I love this new fabric range by artist-designer Emily Sutton for St Jude’s, it is another beautiful feather in the cap of their amazing fabric collection.

Inspired by the relics of a bygone era and afternoons immersed in the contents of the Museum of Childhood in Edinburgh, Emily recently graduated from the Edinburgh College of Art and combines her love of drawing, painting and crafting in her work. The fabrics will be available from tomorrow.

Chocolate souffles

I have a small addiction to GU chocolate souffles, light as air and rich with the flavour of the darkest chocolate. As a result I end up with lots of the glass serving jars they come in, I reuse them for serving butter and dips, holding toothpicks and olives, but still have stacks in the cupboards.

So to give them yet another purpose I gathered some scraps of lace and favourite twine to wrap around the glasses then trimmed them with some berries, gold beads and silver sparkles. Now they are tea light holders. Glowing and twinkling on the kitchen table.

Being a long time devotee of Cabbages and Roses and their dreamy, vintage aesthetic, I really am passionate about these fabrics that are screen and roller printed in the UK and designed in London. All in delicate colours that suit all seasons and will effortlessly add a vintage layer to your interior. Living on the East Sussex coast the Ships passing fabric would look so perfect as cushions in our house. I can't wait to make some. I am also counting the days until I can visit their new Avery Row store too. My husband will have to drag me out by my ears.

So, I will be giving one lucky winner a metre of each fabric swatch pictured here from the beautiful Gilbert Range, 'Ships passing' 'Metro' and 'Scoopy'. From three to one.

Hi, I trust your weekend has started well, I spent the morning confusing myself further by pouring over more wallpaper sample books in a beautiful interiors boutique. I hope to give you a tour and some pictures soon. Over and over I have stared at all my choices and these are the three I truly want in my life.

Watalet by Designers Guild then Eglantine and Swallows by Sanderson. Now to narrow these three down to one.

I would say good afternoon, but it has been another terribly damp day. I spent a good while catching up with all the beautiful happenings over at Flickr, my account is somewhat neglected while my head spins here and there with possibilities at all the things I would like to achieve with my time. For now these are my favourites.

Sod it, the festive season is going to arrive before we know it, even though we have a year to prepare and the shops bamboozle us with holiday things from September onwards, it still seems to come as a surprise on December the 19th when I still haven't got all the food decorations and gifts that I need. I just can't wait any longer to post about these lovely bells, candles and garlands from Toast house and home not so seasonal really in colours of peeling gold, terracotta and brown paper I think they have year round appeal.

Super strong winds and heavy rain

I concur, super strong winds and heavy rain battering my windows and I HAVE to go out there! Oh why! Thought I would start the day with a way more cheerful image than the fate that befalls me outside my front door. Hope you are snuggled and cosy at home without a reason to leave the house today.

I see where this is heading, bankruptcy or I'll end up with nothing. These ravishing examples are all from Designers Guild. I am in love (again) a thousand times over. Help.

These beauties are all from Sanderson, traditional English inspired design at it's best. I was having a peek around there site and noticed that you could create your own scrapbook using the products, which looks pretty cool.

As you may have gathered, I am on a quest for two or three wallpapers, which will be used on the back wall of my kitchen. A very important decision as it will be heavily featured in my blog and shop listings and it is the most photographed corner of my home with the best natural lighting.

Thanks so much to those of you who commented with their suggestions so far. There are some amazing patterns available. The first round of outstanding contenders comes from Anthropologie. At this rate I may have to paper myself a feature house? I'll take a roll of each please!
