Less than 12h after the beginning of Pacific Crisis Fundraiser, over L$1,000,000 were already given to the cause from donations and purchases. ONE MILLION! That's fantastic!

Today will be a day to remember for Div - my boyfriend - and I.

Long story short, we met in Second Life. He is american and I'm (french!) canadian. All the odds were against us but we managed to turn our virtual dream into something real. It was hard, and it took some times, but we made it! Div lives with me in Montréal since 3 months now, but we need to legally allow him to stay for good.

So today is the first step of his immigration : our civil union. Nothing big, just us and our two witnesses, and some home made cupcakes. Following today, we'll fill all papers and stuff required for him to get his permanent citizenship.

Only, I thought it would be fun to commemorate this even in SL, where we met over 3 years ago!

Since Div doesn't log in Second Life anymore, I decided not to do the traditional picture with the two lovebirds. Instead, waiting for him (forever?) in a white dress seemed more appropriate. I couldn't resist adding LaGyo's Spring accessories to my outfit. The headpiece is stunning; I didn't retouch the picture at all (except for lighting), these are the original textures. The flowers look so delicate! And the earrings are to die for.

Mon Tissu d'amour.

If I had to shop at only one store for the rest of my SL life, I would choose Mon Tissu without hesitation. I love everything there, and I mostly love the fact that you can easily look put together (yet comfy) just by throwing on any of their stuff randomly. Their products are amazingly well done and you look great without any damn effort. If you don't know about Mon Tissu yet, you're really missing something.

Today I went to check their new (well... about 1 week old) "Sweet Sophisticate" collection and I love the très french vibe to it. You look like you deserve to live in Paris. Ah Paris! Who doesn't want to look as good and put together as these lovely Parisiennes?

I had a wonderful time with Lazy Sunday yesterday, what a thrilling experience! I've met some great people, had a fun time, and got plenty of very nice comments regarding La Bohème set (pssst! it's still available for a few hours at L$75 only, I didn't have the time to remove it yet!).

A very great experience overall, so you'll see Statique for Lazy Sunday again in a few weeks!

Major snowstorm in my town today, we're expecting up to 50cm - that's 20in, folks! - so I'm making a statement against it in-world with a light, pastel, spring-ish outfit thanks to this super cute poncho from R.icielli. It's from their early February hunt but guess what? it's still ongoing! You can still put your hands on it for a ridiculous L$10, along with 11 other items.

Glam Affair - Mary.

The Vanity Universal Lag Fest Skin Fair is finally open to everyone and the sim is now packed with not-so-pretty fashionistas. I can't manage to TP in tonight, but I heard some ladies will try anything to get there, including going bald and without shoes (!!).

Not sure I am brave enough to make such statement just to pick up some demos. Thankfully, if you're in Glam Affair group, you received the complete demos package for Mary, the new skin currently available at the Lag Fest Skin Fair. Glam Affair have been nice enough to send their demos in a notice group so we don't have to make it to the Lag Fest Skin Fair in order to try their new release.

I'm usually not a huge fan of Glam Affair's skins, they tend to go heavy on the blush and contouring but Mary is absolutely gorgeous! As usual my love goes for the soft and neutral look but there is also some very nice bold lips (red, cranberry, even black!) available, for a total of 12 different make ups.

You can get every individual make up for L$999 or the fatpack for an astonishing L$4999 which is, to my taste, a bit too much.

So... I decided to stick with two of the 3 skins mentioned above, I only have to decide which ones and so far I can't choose. Meanwhile I'll remove my hair and shoes and will try to make it to Vanity Universe sim.
