Fashion pilgrimage

Up early so I can catch the really good sun, the sun that makes my diamante sandals sparkle as I walk, the sun that inspires me to have a 1950's style breakfast, the perfect sky to accompany me to the newspaper shop on a Sunday morning fashion pilgrimage.

highlights of the past few days

Ginger beer with a kick.
Keeping our basil plants alive.
Choosing recipes from the new Jamie magazine.
Fish and chips with lots of salt and vinegar.
Fresh strawberries from Kent.

hips don't lie

I don't have to work until this afternoon, so I am just at home tidying, making things, fooling about, channeling Shakira with my skirt hitched up dancing to the radio. If you get a chance this week I can recommend taking a time out to shake some ruffles to your favorite song.

If I was to start a food diary today it would read:

1 bowl of frosties.
1 packet of wotsits
10 marshmallows.
1 glass elder flower cordial.
1 ice lolly.

Lucky I"m not, but on the bright side maybe all the dancing will burn off the sugar?

I like to eat at Bills

Still stuck on the weekend here. Sunday we ate at Bills. I managed to walk away with just a couple of items for home. I could have spent a fortune.

Very behind on this one I’m so flattered that Mirka at Oprikka has given me a “you’ve made my day” award which is so sweet and such a compliment. Thank you.

Now I’m supposed to pass along the award to five blogs that have made my day, I am sometimes a bit shy, but I'll just bite the bullet and do it quick leaving me no time to get nervous! Too late! It feels like picking teams at school, and I wasn't much for sports so guess who got left till the last few, better than five see my new you make my day link list right.
