Early start today. My husband, sister, a few friends and a couple of thousand others are running a half marathon this morning. I am very proud of them all, its something I doubt I will ever attempt! So while they get started I am eating pancakes with mango and maple syrup, making a new york garland from the vintage NYC postcard set a friend gave me for my birthday, and gathering together a few things that have found me recently. I will wander out in a while and find a place where I can stand and see my brave friends and loved ones run past.
